'After a great stay at LUMA Hotel in New York, we were curious to see how the San Francisco version compared — and it did not disappoint.
The hotel has the same modern look and feel and is in a pleasant, easily accessible location. We received a warm welcome and were given a spacious, clean room on the 12th floor with lovely views over the city and Mission Creek.
The room was very comfortable: quiet air conditioning, a huge TV, excellent beds, plenty of storage, lots of lighting options and...

'The hotel allowed complimentary early check-in which was fantastic. They held our luggage after check-out so that we could roam around down-town a little. There is a BART station just across the street so that was great for easy transit.
However, perhaps since we stayed on Saturday 31st Oct (Halloween), the hotel was extremely noisy with seemingly a bunch of drunks making unbearable loud noises at all hours of the night. We did not get any rest!! It was awful. The next morning for breakfast,...

'I had an early flight in (they found a room & let me check in early) and a late flight out (after checking out they let me store my luggage all day). Very friendly and professional staff at all levels. Continental breakfast had fresh croissants, scones, muffins etc. and bananas and apples. I thought location was great; short walk from the Embarcadero BART stop, surprisingly quiet with nice views. Good bed and shower. Lobby has a massive, long table that is the perfect height for working on a...
