'From a leaking refrigerator that they were notified of but never came to look at or try to fix over a 2 day stay, to a "continental" breakfast that was a bagel, a boiled egg and a box of cereal and NO coffee. When we notified them there was no coffee, the response was.. oh, ok. and that was that. The final straw, the absolute zero level of control the staff has on the pool. A huge group of kids were chaotic, overwhelming, and very out of line taking the entire pool as their own party...

'They were in the middle of a remodel. We were excited to stay here based on the pictures, but the lack of cleanliness and amenities listed that were unavailable were disappointing. '

'What a gorgeous property and very pleasant stay! Thank you to the entire team for the immaculate, unique setting. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived, enjoyed the sunrise from the huge windows overlooking the water, and the delicious continental breakfast. The location overlooks a lovely beach and walking path and we enjoyed the serenity and delicious dining in South Portland as well as the convenience to Old Port. We would definitely return and have mentioned the inn to friends. Thanks...

'Beds were tolerable, thin walls heard baby’s crying, doors shutting, hollering and conversations…. And too close to the interstate. Loud traffic!! Cute little pool for my children to swim. Loved the washer and dryer rental option. Staff were nice. '

'Strong chemical smell upon entering, which we could smell all night. Hair in the bathroom, hair and dirt in the fridge, sagging mattress. Asked to go to a higher floor and if one was available and was told “no” by the man at the desk. Left and came back around 9:30 to find the rather large parking lot very empty and only a few cars in the front. I realized this is because the top two floors are not being used. 'Got put into an uncleaned room. Complained and the woman behind the frontdesk didn’t want to do anything about it. Acted like there was no other room in the hotel I could sleep in. Unfriendly and uninterested during both check-in and my complain. '

'Our stay was great. It was a nice place to sleep and close to all the locations we wanted to explore. It was a cozy stay and the woman I was communicating with was very friendly. The motel room itself was a little old and not well lit. They did a nice job decorating but you can tell there are some fixes that need to be done. But hey, overall, I would recommend it to someone, it’s just a cozy affordable place to stay. '
