'We booked this getaway on a whim and wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the property and location was the PERFECT spot for our family of four, plus a family friend. The wood interior of the cabin is gorgeous and had all the perfect touches to make us feel right at home. All the information we needed was provided without asking and everything was a breeze. We had such a great time. 10/10! Would recommend and plan to book again!'

'Best experience we’ve had with a rental - ever! Amazing home with wonderful views. Homeowners ensured everything was perfect for our stay and even decorated for my husbands birthday with treats. 'We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. The owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I hope to go again one day!'

'Property was as advertised and well equipped. Driveway is kind of steep, beware if you have a low riding vehicle. We would stay there again. Convenient to Blue Ridge Parkway and wineries. Highly recommend Hazy Mountain, it is beautiful.'

'We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!'

'The property was overall nice with minor issues. It had a funky smell upon entering, most likely due to moisture and several outlets were not working. Access to the property was very difficult for my mother with mobility issues since it went down wooden stairs that were slippery after the rain. The third bedroom is a loft with no privacy (door or enclosed walls) and due to the vaulted ceiling adults can’t comfortably be up there. '

'This was such a peaceful, perfect location with an incredible view up on the mountain! It was like an escape from the real world and felt so refreshing. My gaming-obsessed 12 year old son said he would give up games if we could move there 😂 The hosts were great and very responsive and we had no issues with anything. 'The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still...

great road hotel, will stay again.
"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
