'Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend.'

'We had a perfect stay in the Bankside cottage. Milldale is very small (7 houses?), beautiful and quiet place, especially in the evening when daytrippers have left. The cottage has everything you need. Good beds, decent seating in living room, lots of kitchen equipment, washing / drying machine etc. The Master bedroom is very spacious with a good bed. The rest of the sleeping rooms are doable but much smaller. Bathroom is very spacious and shower and bath have good waterflow. The Wifi was...

'Visiting for a wedding we had a lovely time. Cottage is a gem in a stunning location. So nice to sit at the bottom of the garden and catch the sun into the evening. Looking forward already to another visit when possible. Dog friendly.'

'We stayed here last April (2023) and it was fine but the back garden was a disappointment and we andvised them of this issue. Unfortunately, even though the drain has been sorted the garden has gotten much worse and needs attention for little cost. Also the neighbours hang their washing over the fence which isn’t a very nice sight to see in a morning. The house itself is fine with everything you need. A long mirror somewhere downstairs would be helpful and a mirror in the first floor bathroom...
