'River Street Hotel was excellent. The location was great! Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. The bed was lumpy, bad pillows but comfortable enough for a few nights , for sure.. Easy to find this rental. The bar and restaurants do a good job keeping the area bustling. Love the area and the views.'

'Great location right on the beach with a nice pool area. Rooms are in need of a little TLC. Service was slow and at times the staff was incompetent not being able to answer simple questions.'

'The hotel definitely has a lot of charm and character, and the property itself is very cute and unique. However, the soundproofing was a major issue — I could clearly hear conversations and even someone talking on the phone in another room. The amenities also felt worn out, with cheap towels and areas that could really use upgrades and refreshing. Overall, it has potential and charm, but in my opinion it does not meet the standard of a true 4-star hotel.'

'What can I say about this place, except to warn everyone to stay away! There are tons of other places nearby that you can stay at and never regret your stay. An old building, super dirty room and hallways, 2 very very old elevators (occasional wait time up to 10 mins) and unbelievably bored/angry/checked-out staff especially at the check-in counter. I was in Savannah for a conference and the first two days, I got to stay at homewoods suites which was superb compared to this place! Seriously,...
