'Always the best place to stay while in CH!'

'I speant five months traveling for a job last year; back and forth from here to Boulder, Colorado. I staid at a different hotel almost every time because every one within my budget sucked. This little hotel is Five stars for the money. The breakfast is the same stuff you would get at a Holiday Inn express, but the rooms are absolutely lovely. This hotel is also conveniently located to a walkable little shopping area, where you'll find an organic grocery and a really good burger spot.'

'I think it was nice and clean but I cannot believe what I paid for three nights vs what I could have got. It was great being on Franklin street but honestly the building was a bit more older than what I was expecting for the price. Again, it was nice but I found a luxury apartment with so much more space after the fact that was 1/3 of the price'

'There were roaches in my room. They changed me to an upper floor and upgraded my room but there were still roaches. Did not like the hotel but the staff was very nice and professional.'

'Poor plumbing!! The sink kept clogging up..there were hair on the “clean” towels!! Overall the place seems to be falling apart from neglect!! The carpet smells super musty!! However, the location is great!!'

'Paying for Parking and the payment process was not expected. I can see paying for valet service, but paying to self park in a small southern town seems a bit much. Plus the "threat" of being towed was a HUGE turn off. EVERY other hotel in the area offers free parking...EVEN the Carolina Inn and it is on campus!'

'We really like the homewood suites brand and look forward to the expected amenities- this one was in a great location but could use a bit of refreshment. Not sure why the hallways have the exposed wiring at the ceiling wall. Breakfast was nice but not as extensive as other locations such as Dallas/ Fort Worth. We had a very long walk from our unit 329 to lobby/ breakfast area. Overall rating is good and I would stay again '

'House keeping could be improved. Requested additional towels because they only clean every other day, and they would not bring them to the room. Made you pick them up downstairs. '

'The bathrooms in this hotel need a very thorough cleaning. Scrubbing, bleaching etc. It made me wonder how truly clean everything else was. The breakfast though was very good and the food area looked clean. The rooms were large and the location just of I 40 between chapel hill and Durham was very convenient.'
