"Een hotel met uitstraling en midden in het centrum van Manchester. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Alleen de kamer kan wel een upgrade gebruiken."

"Heel vriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn wel sterk verouderd, meubels niet zo netjes. Bed wel met propere lakens. Haardroger en handdoeken aanwezig."

"The building is absolutely wonderful, as are the rooms. The ceilings of the rooms are high, the beds are very comfortable. In our case, we stayed in a beautiful room that unfortunately was located nest to the tracks. So everytime a train passed by, in the night, it was loud and clear. Also with earplugs. Didn't bother asking for another room after being awake most of the night as we'd only stayed 3 nights and we thought we'd sleep after a full day of walking. But no. Should have asked for a room on the other side. On the other hand, be only had to cross the street to catch the train to go to the aiirport. Than was convenient."

"Slecht onderhouden hotel, bv lift knopjes, 1 lift kapot en geen service. Ipv veel te warme een ‘upgrade a 10 GBP naar kamer met raam, dat blijkt te lekken en douche die niet aan te krijgen is. Na melding de hele geen onderhoudsmonteur geweest met als gevolg nog geen douche en middernacht verplaatsing. Geen restitutie vanwege downgrade !"

"The price is cheap (like the cheapest non-sharing hotel we can find), location is good, lots of food and store around the block. We have ordered a double room with no window, but have given a single room with window. The room size is quite big, we still have plenty space after opening a large suitcase. The room is old but fairly clean. Given there is a portable fan provided, it is not too hot even there is no air-con. We can still sleep in a 25 degree night with the help of the fan. I will pay some extra pound for the cleanness / newer hotel, but it is surely liveable and have its pros."
