'The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.'

'The photos don't even begin to do justice to this house! Everything about our stay was excellent! Great location, great vibe, great stay! We even used the kayaks and grill, both of which were in perfect working order......a real rarity at a rental property. 'We’ve stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. The place is very spacious, very well equipped, and tastefully decorated. The location provides ready access to the Farnsworth Museum, local galleries and several great restaurants. We came this year for the Lobster Festival which is a 5 minute walk from the unit. It’s the first time we came during a very hot stretch. The owners were kind enough to provide a portable cooling unit that kept the apartment comfortable. We hardly recommend!'

'We came for Lobster fest but wanted to be outside of Rockland. This is a wonderful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle but still close to several beautiful towns.Jeff and Robin were very welcoming, easy to get in touch with and helped us with anything we needed. Check-in and check-out was so easy and the Robin’s nest was like a home away from home with a private sitting area near the pond.This was our best VBRO experience we have ever had.'

'Walked the house initially and it smelled like a wet basement, we opened all the windows and had the humidifier going but it didn’t help. The Wi-Fi didn’t work because the owners hadn’t paid the bill. That got fixed the next day. Sheets were dirty on the master bedroom. Twice we had to call Maine water to fix the water. We called to get the place cleaned and they never sent any one and there was no cable. In the bathroom there was black mold in the shower. It was awful.'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
