'10/10 — Incredible beachfront boutique hotel Maramara Playa was the highlight of our trip to Sayulita. The hotel is literally right on the sand, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows plus a big private balcony overlooking the beach and sunset - absolutely beautiful. The design is new, modern, and very comfortable. Staff communication was excellent, and their custom town guide was super helpful. 'The partial ocean view at this hotel was breathtaking and surpassed the views of other hotels. The spacious, clean, and relaxing rooms were a delight. I particularly enjoyed the rainfall shower and deep soaker tub. It was an unforgettable experience to have breakfast while watching humpback whales. We definitely plan to stay here again. '

'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). The breakfast restaurant is much nice and has better food. For lunch yo better head to the beach...

'Super clean. Great staff. Cozy & charming. Just try to avoid room #5 which is right underneath the restaurant. Lots of chair noises early in the morning, hard to sleep in. Close enough to the beach and a 15 minutes walk to the village and all the restaurants. Attention walking at night, there are no street lights. It gets very dark, but we didn’t feel any danger, it’s just a bit eary.'

'Pool had a beautiful view of ocean where we watched whales and birds while having pool totally to ourselves . Loved that the resort was spacious and uncrowded.Secured with gates and a few minute walk to town. Staff went over and above Rubin at the front desk gave a guided tour of the facilities and town with suggestions of restaurants and activities .Housekeeping was excellent . Definitely will return. Also front desk Diana arranged that our laundry which was plentiful was clean and returned...
