'Saw the pictures online but still shocked to see it in person, that’s how I would imagine a prison cell should feel like. Reasonably clean but there’s a strong weird smell in the separate bathroom. Young guy at the reception was polite but when I came back from a morning walk to get my bag after I checked out, the old guy inside who doesn’t speak English was extremely rude and lack of basic human manners, refused to open the locked doors (they only open them after check-in hours) and signaled...

'This is not a hotel in any sense. It is an apartment converted into 3 rooms. It is in a large apartment block that could feel intimidating to some people. Access is through 4 doors that need a code sent by email. It was difficult to read the instructions in Italian and difficult to find the translation.'

'Room was basic but fine and good location. We were welcomed very warmly by the concierge who was very helpful and pleasant.
