'The resort was extremely nice. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond. The spa was great. Would recommend large space to get ready and check the whirlpool more often for cleanliness. Our only complaint was fees. There seemed to be a lot of “hidden” fees when we checked our account during the weekend. '

'First, we want to compliment your staff—they were great, helpful, and very responsive throughout our visit. We truly appreciated their attentiveness. However, the room we stayed in was quite noisy. It was located right next to the street, with traffic, trash pickup right beneath the room, and last night there were a few trucks working (possibly county work) without any prior notice. Unfortunately, this made it difficult for us to sleep well. Overall, aside from the noise issue, everything else...

'The staff was really nice. The water was shut off from 11am-3pm on the first day, the indoor pool was under construction the entire time we were there which, the shower hair strands of hair left behind. There was also strands of hair on beds and pillows. Our balcony windows had not been cleaned. Parking is not free, it’s $20 a day. '

'The body soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. As for the shampoo and conditioner, it was impossible to tell what was actually inside them. The building itself is old, and the walls were peeling in places. The staff at the front desk seemed reluctant to refill the water and coffee provided in the lobby area. I was shocked when someone on an upper floor threw a water bottle down to the ground below! I’m just relieved that no one was injured.'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
