We met so many fellow travelers there. The location is perfect. Portsmouth is a great town, totally walkable, very safe and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend staying here'

'What a great spot! A very chill vibe, with great management. The pool was the right temperature and the chairs/tables/umbrellas were comfy and Easy to use. The fridge and countertop were mindfully stocked with a wide variety of snacks and beverages, elevating the "mini bar" to a whole new level. '

The garden is glorious and was soothing to our city-weary brains.
We will definitely be returning to Martin Hill Inn. Portsmouth has so much to offer for a relaxing getaway. I recommend staying at least 3 nights.'

'We had a wonderful greeting by the hotel manager. He assisted with getting us checked in and provided us options for a late dinner. Our room was clean and easy to locate what we needed. The refrigerator was cold (not always the case). Pool was great. Breakfast was well stocked. I’d stay there again!'

'No complaints, nice and spacious room, the cleaning service seems a bit overbooked, as day 1 both of my glasses in the bathroom were filthy (lipstick stains, eww!), but this was resolved immediately when i asked. Club level has a separate room for breakfast in the morning and snacks in the evening, both were great.
The elevator to the club level however is unbelievably slow.'
