'This house was perfect for our family of 7- all adults. There was plenty of space and the floor plan was great to allow everyone their own space as needed. We have rented many houses, condos, cabins and this was the first to have some food items on hand in case we needed it. The only thing I would suggest is to bring any plastic bowls with lids that you might need. With 7 of us, we did need them. However, Dollar General isn’t far and it is cheap. 'Really pretty property with several amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Cozy and comfortable and felt like a home rather than a rental. We hosted some local family for a cookout and had everything we needed to prepare a big dinner. Neighbors were very friendly. The kayaks were a great addition as well. '

'This rental house was as pictured. It was clean, it was lake adjacent, it housed my family adequately. There was nothing special about this unit that justified its cost. After fees were included--one of which was a very high cleaning fee that came in addition to cleaning tasks we were required to do--there was nothing about this cabin that justified how high the rental price was. What you see is (mostly) what you get. The main photo shows the lake, it doesn't show you that this house is set back...

'This was a perfect location for our family to meet with friends from out of town. The house has a luxurious cabin feel, and there are plenty of spaces for people to spread out and play games or talk. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which made it easy for us to cook up some favorite meals. The property manager was friendly and responsive to questions we had. 'This home was easy to find, check in and access. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small so room to get ready for a big event would have to be managed but the shower was nice and the water hot. It is near restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the road noise was very loud at night. We stayed over SIU graduation weekend.'
