Budgethotels in West-Michigan

'We left early due to the strong smell of marijuana inside the building. The staff was friendly enough however they did not enforce the no smoking policy. We did not get to enjoy the pool or breakfast due to the stench. We also were there to visit our granddaughter but we didn't dare bring her back to the hotel due to the people outside the doors smoking pot and the horrible smell in the hallways, which was obviously coming from the rooms. Upstairs was the worst. I understand it's legal but...

'There was a dirty towel hanging in the closet. There was also a wrapper from the bar of soap in the shower. The tub did not drain. The sink did not drain and the air filter doesn’t look like it has been cleaned in over a year. When we were leaving in the morning, I told the attendant who was over in the breakfast area. He seemed like he could care less. We stayed at this hotel many years ago a few times and it was a nice place to stay. We will never stay here again.'
