'While this was a fine place to stay for a bit, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. The carriage house is cute but older and quite worn down, and I ran into several spiders and bugs indoors. The window AC unit struggled to cool the space, so I had to leave the windows open the whole time—if it had been peak summer heat, it wouldn't have been manageable. 'We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. 'Wonderfully quiet neighborhood and close to lake etc. bed was very comfortable. It was very hot out during our stay but were able to keep appt nice and cool with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Thank you for wonderful stay.'
