Strandhotels in West-Michigan

'Parking is free and spots easily found. Breakfast was a downer. We ended up having to go out and buy breakfast nearby. Coffee out of machine not good. Cold cereal, bread products and some fruit and fruit juice available. No yogurt or oatmeal. Ice machine was a plus as it is huge and easily accessible if you needed a small cooler filled up. Hotel could have been better. It really did not have a vibe.'

'Last minute stop; price was ok as we just slept and got up and left. Nighttime desk attendant very nice and helpful at 10:00pm. Room was a room, no usb plugs or anything but bed decent and room livable. AC was cold.'

'The first room has stains on it sheets and they quickly swap this out to another room. I checked the sheets. They looked OK and then laying down I saw what looked like barbecue sauce or marinara sauce on the pillow so I’d ask for a new pillowcase, which came promptly. This is more about Expedia complaint, but I bought the insurance in case of a cancellation which I tried to use because my wife is so pregnant. We really didn’t wanna go, but you had to cancel the reservation a week in advance and...

'Expedia ripped me off. The rate was so much more than the real rate. The lobby smelt like curry. The first room dirty hot tub, curtains ripped. The staff was nice to move us to another room. It was clean, breakfast was great. Expedia rates are ridiculous.'

'Rooms were very clean along with the main hotel. Pool is small but decent and the gym is nice. Parking was ok and plentiful. Breakfast is simple - bread,bagels, muffins, eggs, sausages, oatmeal and diy waffles. There was always fresh coffee and hot water for tea and hot cocoa. My only con is someone was able to just come in through the front and was acting very erratic and not themselves.'
