'I can't begin to tell you how happy we were with our experience. Everyone who worked at the front desk was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The room was nicely appointed with anything you could need for a short stay, including a comfy bed and good pillows. To me, the best part was how immaculately clean it was. 'Staff was wonderful. Especially the young lady that checked us in upon arrival. Elevator was down told her my wife has COPD can't do stairs. Without hesitation she moved us to the first floor. Thanks'

'The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area.
