'Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved.'

'Great place to stay and relax. Very clean..comfortable bed… great hot tub..cute reading nook outside.. most enjoyable!'

'I needed a pop in overnight inexpensive place to lodge and it was very reasonable and super comfy! I slept like a baby! The owners were super nice, walked me to my room and went in and checked for me. I was staying alone so I was very greatful for that.'

'Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

'Room was clean. Perfect location. Attached restaurant & gift shop were excellent! Host was helpful & accommodating.'
