'This is a quiet, no frills place. It’s hard to find a reasonably priced motel in the Berkshires in-season and this is it. Fancy it is not. Stylish, also no. But it was clean and the mattresses were comfortable.'

'The place is under construction—which I usually don’t mind…but this place had a dirt entrance, dysfunctional elevators, my room had already been renovated—with wallpaper coming unglued, bathroom fixtures that felt like they were coming off the wall. The AC was out so they replaced it with a portable AC on such a short cord it was a taut 4”H line right next to the bed. Location is good. Few blocks to Barrington Stage and short drive to Guido’s and Tanglewood. They should not be charging...
