'I really enjoyed the kitchen setup and how everything I needed was there. The beds were very comfortable and having a light nearby for reading was a plus. The walk to downtown was nice. We explored Shelburne Falls out days and it did have something for everyone. I would stay here again.'

The home is older and while clean is not light and bright as the picture of the living room would indicate. In fact, the rug and the couches are completely different. 'We stayed in this property bc our daughter’s graduation (Amherst) was sold out. We used the property to have a place to sleep and shower exclusively.The duplex was clean, well equipped with towels and linens. We used two of the 3 bedrooms. The king size bed was comfortable enough. The queen size bed (not the bunk bed) was very uncomfortable according to my daughter and her partner. 'The neighborhood is a little dicy but we didn’t feel like we were in danger. It’s just kind of run down. The house was clean. Spacious. There are two queen beds and a twin not the queen and a full as described. Maybe they were confused because there was a full size headboard for one of the queens. 25 minutes from the Log Cabin where we had a wedding. Would have been nice if the code had been changed so my daughter could have gotten in with no hassle….oh well. All in all- not a bad experience. '

It was a charming and comfortable home, and, for our purposes, was an excellent location as we were on a bit of a tour to visit a few different towns where famous American authors lived. 'Very clean, nice neighborhood, newer appliances (kitchen not as well stocked, and no grill- just fyi- but if you don’t plan to cook that’s no issue). Easy trip to downtown and local universities. Owner easy to contact and quick to respond. We had a very nice stay.'
