Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. 'Prachtige locatie, mooi historisch pand met geweldige Engelse tuin en park. Met de bus op 7 min. van York, recht aan de bushalte. Al een tweede verblijf in dit hotel, en is allen maar verbeterd. Keuken ronduit fantastisch, prachtig dineren bij kaarslicht waar je volledig in de watten wordt gelegd. Wel iets van deftige kledij te voorzien. Gezellige bibliotheek voor een 'afternoon tea', voor je in de spa of de gym duikt. Massages ook goed in prijs/kwaliteit. De vriendelijkheid waarmee elke vraag...

'Heel mooi hotel dicht bij het centrum van York. Makkelijk te belopen. 2 éénpersoonsbedden waren zo geregeld. Alleen het ontbijt is heelmerg duur en summier, slecht. Roerei gemaakt van poeder, weinig keuze maar we £20!! '

'Property was great, staff were friendly. I'd done online check-in so it was easy. My room was spacious, clean with a very modern bathroom and i love the fact theres a kettle in room. Bar in hotel was well stocked again friendly service and a great space to hang out as we worked out our plans for evening (i had colleague's staying in hotel). 'This hotel is great and we couldn’t fault our stay until check out time..... we had already paid for the hotel prior to our stay yet we were asked to pay again for the room! Apparently the hotel has recently changed hands and there is some issue with the accounts transferring over so the hotel isn’t currently receiving the payments people are paying ( going to the old company).
