The bathroom was clean, and it was in walking distance for a lot of food options. It was quiet and I felt safe. The hotel is located in a safe area. There are a number of bus stops near the hotel that can bring you to Downtown Los Angeles or to Hollywood, Fairfax and Beverly Hills. Along those bus lines you can also transfer to the metro lines, which means you can pretty much reach the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area using public transit using the nearby bus stops.
For groceries there is a Ralph's supermarket nearby and there are a number of diners nearby as well. The Glendale Galleria mall is a few bus stops away as well.
