'The pool was very dirty and unusable. The gym was locked and unusable. The room was ok but the power kept going out, and we didn't understand why. There was supposed to be a standby generator, it didn't come on most of the time. Shops were hard to get to. The road was being repaired most of the time we were there, so maybe no it may be easier to get around'

'Clean spaces with polite staff from the gate to the reception, housekeeping and the kitchen. The food is delicious, including the free breakfast; the only thing is the long preparation time of your order from their menu. You will be told that it would only take 40 minutes, but in reality it's more than an hour. Even ordered food at night, it came after one hour and a half. I tried to cancel earlier but the female staff beg me not to do it because the property will charge her of the food price....

'The unit itself was immaculate and well stocked. The view from the lanai was beautiful. It was well stocked with beach and pool items. Our only disappoint was when we realized we did not have pool cards access the pool. It took 6 days to finally get them. Being that it was right after the big Kona low and many of the beaches were closed, this was a problem for us. The property office was open, so I asked about this.
