'Starting with the positives, it’s nicely situated on a small inlet that is about 3 feet deep and filled with oyster cribs. It’s pretty quiet with a lot of birds. The deck is nice to sit on and relax.The rooms and beds are nice, as are the bathrooms. The living space (LR and DR) is comfortable. It has a few amenities—the kayaks and cornhole boards—that are a plus. It’s a 10-minute drive to the ferry and Fort Morgan, a 20-minute drive to town, and a 15-minute walk to the ocean. 'We really enjoyed our visit! Margie was so sweet, my husband told her we hadn't had room to stop and grocery shop along the way so we ask her where the nearest grocery store was and she offered us pizza from her freezer! We declined of course but it's the thought that counts! The house could use a bit of repairs and updates but nothing to the point that it effected our stay at all, it's a nice neighbor, a beautifully decorated home, and kind hosts, we didn't want to leave!'

'This property is immaculate! Bedrooms are HUGE and open space of kitchen and great room is an EXCELLENT gathering area...and at the back of the house - so no outside disturbances. Great location to navigate both Orange Beach and Gulf Shores along with inland communities. Although we had some challenges with the internet; service staff was extremely helpful (over a holiday) and rectified the situation in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommend this property. '

'The home was very clean and welcoming! Plenty of space and bathrooms. We all had a great time with the nerf guns and switch. Beach was a short walk down the trail, not as bad as I thought it was going to be and trails also went to piers on lagoon. The neighborhood was a little more "energetic" than we were anticipating and the porch wasn't very private with neighbors right in line on either side. 'The house was cute from the outside and nicely decorated. The inside was not clean at all! The trim was dirty and full of dust. Walls and light switches were dirty. The cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms had stuff splattered all over them. A few of the dishes in the cupboard were crusty. The upstairs shower curtain was stained along the entire bottom, a foot from the floor. They had touched up the paint in the lower bathroom with a completely different color.
