We also really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and kayaks. Highly suggest renting this cottage, the owners were great and easy to communicate with. '

'From the moment we pulled up to the day we left... we were all in love. The privacy of this location is phenomenal. From the private road to access to the lake in the backyard. The girls were kayaking day and night. Very close to the grocery store and also not far from downtown shopping. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Perfect location right by the crosswalk and light by the entrance to the state park. Easy walking distance to downtown and harbor. A couple of the cement steps need some attention, but overall condition of unit was great. Maybe add an AC unit of some kind in the second bedroom? Really enjoyed our stay.'

'We enjoyed a wonderful week in Michigan. The house was pretty, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful with easy access to the beach. There are 42 steps down to the beach that might be difficult for some. We had great fun using the paddle boards and the water lily. We heartily recommend this property and hope to return ourselves. Very special place. '

I could have sat outside all day and watched the water. The rooms were perfect. The communication was great and check in and out were a breeze. '

The property had everything we needed, could use some upgrades to the patio furniture ..of the two chairs provided, when we moved the back cushion of one we noticed the entire backing was blown out, and the second one began to crack during our stay, so we had to get creative with borrowing chairs from my brother who fortunately lives in town. Easy walk to downtown shops, art, and restaurants. Table for puzzling in living area, backyard patio privacy. Bathrooms stocked with toiletries and other items if you forgot to pack something. Enjoyed the access to touristy town and big-city groceries and shopping. Things to do close by and short drive away. Highly recommend this...
