The location is perfect. 3 min walk from the water buss stop, 5 min walk to San Marco piazza and 10 min to Rialto bridge. In front of the hotel you can get a gondola. I’d love to go there again. '

'Reception insisted on making a copy of my passport for no clear reason, the needed information was already given through Expedia itself and could have been entered into the computer manually without making a copy. Making copies of Dutch passports is illegal under Dutch law and is completely unnecessary. The receptionist reacted very annoyed when I asked her not to make or use a copy even though it meant zero extra effort or time for her.

"Seeing it from outside, you would not expect the very special inside. Very barok, fabric even on the walls.
Plus: location 2min walk from Bridge of Sighs, good aircon, good bed, properly functioning fridge.
Min: shower head should be replaced.

"The location of the hotel is super, also the traditional decor is worthwhile, especially of the breakfast room.
There were some electricity problems in our room so we had to call for help several times. It was finally solved on the 2nd day.
Also, there was not such a fresh smell in the room.
The extra bed for our daughter was there but really hard, not so comfortable.
Still, we enjoyed our city trip in beautiful Venice!"
