'This was a really cool place to stay. Han was a terrific host, very welcoming and accommodating. He met us at the end of his little road and even carried my suitcase to the boat. Han acclimated us to the boat, explaining where everything was, and how to take care of the boat. He had flowers throughout the space, and had some beverages in the upstairs refrigerator. The main Iiving space has a couch, a desk, small refrigerator, kitchen sink and hot pot. From here one can access one sleeping area...

'Jesse’s home is absolutely stunning. The view over the canal is unforgettable. There was more than enough space for my family, with very comfy beds. It was immaculate—easily the most spotless vacation rental I have ever stayed in. And the location is incredibly convenient: a short walk to the train station and fun all around. We particularly enjoyed the Saturday morning market that was just outside our doorstep. Do yourself a favor and stay in Jesse’s home!'

'Having never stayed in a houseboat, this was an experience we couldn't miss. The space was efficient and well equiped. It was a thrill to ride the ferry every day and the houseboat was only a short walk from the ferry stop. Highly recommend!'

'Since we stayed with two other adults we loved the general outlay of the apartment ( two separate bedrooms and bathrooms) Nice views from the bedrooms. We found many breakfast items in the kitchen, which was pretty convenient. Thank you Wessel again for that and for all the Information we received at our arrival. A very quiet and authentic neighbourhood! I can highly recommend!'

'We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. Toch fijn als je als Nederlander in Nederland iets boekt, dit gewoon in eigen taal te kunnen doen. Terplekke ook Engels sprekend, maar duidelijk. Verder zeer tevreden. 'We found the studio apartment very adequate for our needs. It was large enough to be able to sit comfortably at the table and the kitchen has cook top and microwave which we appreciated. I found it a little dark with black curtains and shear curtains and dark black and red carpet but this didn’t impact our enjoyment. The location was ideal for walking to everything. '
