'We don’t stay long, but it was exactly what we needed. The room and bathroom were clean. The room wasn’t big, but good for the day we stayed. It is centrally located in Kauai, so easy to get to the north or south.'

The gardens are lush and meticulously maintained, the beachfront location is a real plus and shopping/events, etc. are close by. 'So nice to stay in this historic hotel, which could be considered an attraction on it's own. We were amazed how clean everything was given the property's age. The location is great too, as the sun is always shining in Waimea (which can absolutely not be said from other places on the island). Some minor comments: the kitchen appliances need an update (let's say they were acceptable in the eighties). '
