'Everything was beautiful. My only issue was when sitting at the pool, I love a staff member to wait on me. The waiter told us about the QR code to view the menu but never came back to take our order. Instead, I had to walk to the bar to order myself and then go back to pick it up. Yes, the walking is good for me -- but I'm on vacation at an expensive resort -- please pamper me. '

'Ocean view was beautiful, pool was beautiful, but there were so many leaks, and construction going on for the amount of money they charge for resort fees. You also have to basically park inside a swimming pool if it has rained'

'Not sure if it was due to the humidity or not, but the floors felt a little sticky. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. The walls in the villas are a bit thin, our neighbor had a rave party at 7am and it sounded like they were in the room with us. A little disappointing that they don't allow a late checkout. Check in at 4pm, and out by 10am. The rates that they charge for 18 hours is a little nuts. Staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and efficient. '

'The rooms are small, similar to what I’ve had in Europe. But they had updated them with new stuff. Parking was a problem though. For a over night stay I would say it served it purpose and wouldn’t steer people away from it.'

'Beautiful partial ocean view with a swimmable sandy beach and chairs, large bedroom and bathroom, smaller second bathroom, fast Wi-Fi, two small balconies, large ceiling fans, a large, beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, stacked washer and dryer (very nice for drying swimsuits), friendly service, flowers and manicured grounds, a great gym, a large pool with two water slides for kids to enjoy, and three hot tubs. 'We enjoyed the cabin a lot, especially the kitchen is a nice area to sit and go over the day ahead or past. The resort is easy to find, easy to check-in, east to navigate on foot, Waimea itself is within walking distance and has the basics like 2 supermarkets and a few eating options. Location is within a minute from the start of Waimea Canyon Drive, but if you want to visit the North Coast, then it does take an hour/hour and a half driving there. For us this was not an issue.'
