'I have T-Mobile and had no service inside the unit and it was spotty by the window. Place is as described no A/C but good cross wind and 4 tower fans to put where you like and a ceiling fan. Be sure you're aware of proximity of window to bed and toilet if you're shy. Beach is closer to the front door than the parking lot which was great. '

'The Hanalei Bay Resort is perfect for those who want more of a classic Hawaiian vacation stay. The beautiful grounds and understated buildings are inviting, but not formal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio unit which was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. 'We stayed here for a few days as part of our 2 week tour of Hawai'i. Out of the 5 places we stayed, this was our favorite! It was easy to access the condo on the ground floor. The area was spacious. The shower was nice as was the outdoor area. We made use of the laundry machines and beach gear especially the boogie boards. Overall we had an excellent stay and recommend this place for any trip on the north coast.'
