'My husband and i enjoyed our stay at this spacious home with gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets. The kitchen was well supplied, so we enjoyed eating in during our stay. Having a sauna and hot tub was a delightful bonus. '

'My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Fox Den to celebrate our anniversary. The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. 'The villa was perfect for our quick stay. Kitchen and house well stocked for dining in and really enjoyed the pool and fire pit just steps away. This is our favorite area in the mountains and to have the top of the ridge to look out either direction was wonderful. We will be back yearly! Brenda was available for any questions and was very accommodating to our requests. Loved laying in bed with the screen door open while the rain set a lovely background noise to my reading time. '

'Great location with gorgeous views. A bit tricky getting to the house due to the mountain roads and driveway. Did not use the AV equipment or washer/dryer but all looked quite adequate. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, utensils as well as some basic condiments. Would certainly plan another stay (but not in the winter time).'
