'THE BUILDING WHERE THEY GIV EME ROOM WAS DIFFERENT BUIDING LIKE 2 MILES AWAY IN ADDTION NO ELEVATOR I REFUSE TO SPEND THE NIGHT THERE AND EXPEDIA ARRANGE ANOTHER HOTEL STAY FOR ME. THE STUFF WERE TERRIBLE NO EMPATY OR UNDERSTANDING, NEVER AGAIN THEY MADE MY LAST TRIO DAY ONE OF THE OWRSET'

'Wow, what an amazing hotel. Check in was smooth, courteous and welcoming. The room was fabulous and the beds - well, I’ve never slept in such a comfortable bed at a hotel! The only thing was the pool said it was heated but at 7pm when I went for a quick dip the water was lukewarm at best. Such a wonderful place in such a wonderful town. We have cancelled our original hotel on our last night in Maine and rebooked the Harraseeket, we are so impressed! Thank you'

'Me, my husband and our two kids got into our room and when I was putting our things away I found women’s used panties on the floor. I told the front desk and was moved to a new room without a discount or upgrade. The new room had stains all over the blankets and brown hair on the beds. I LOVE the fireside inn in Belfast Maine so I figured the Portland fireside would be similar and I was absolutely disgusted and shocked. $180 for nasty rooms.'

'Loved this property! Right next door to the airport, but hardly ever heard the planes. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast and manager reception was top notch. They have an airport screen in the lobby showing real time arrivals and departures. Definitely would stay again!'

'Older building and rooms that are dated, but seems to be clean. Room smelled like perfume and no windows open, ac unit worked great but wasn’t very clean. Kind of shocked by the 9 star wonderful review and felt it was a mid 7’s.'
