'I had a lovely stay. Quiet, clean, and helpful staff.'

'The staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating with our early arrival and letting us drop off our luggage so we could explore Catalina until our room was ready in the early afternoon. Also a great location for the places in town we like to visit. One bonus is a nice third floor roof top gathering spot. A great 360° view of downtown Avalon. It’s an older property with a very interesting history. It is not the Ritz, but if you like warm, funky and clean accommodations, I highly recommend.'

'Good location. Hard to contact through phone whether it was a text or phone call no one ever answered even during there hours. Mold in bathroom & broken headboard on bed frame.'

'The morning breakfast was simple but nice. The location was wonderful and the Metropole Marketplace had a cute tourist and coffee shop as well as a bowling alley that served food and a hotdog and hamburger place. The staff was helpful and proactively asked if we needed any advise regarding the island. The only critique I would have would be that the AC was kind of loud and had to be set very low to keep running. Fortunately my wife and I like it cool to sleep.'

'Stay was great will stay again clean property and friendly staff'

'Toen ik wilde inchecken om 1915 was er helaas niemand aanwezig. Na het bellen van het nummer werd ik 10 minuten later geholpen door twee hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Ik kreeg een kamer upgrade, kingsize met balkon. Een ruime en schone kamer. Hotel ligt op een fijne centrale plek in Avalon met alle voorzieningen op loopafstand. '

'Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Air conditioned, clean, spacious for a couple and the bed was restful.'
