'Beautiful old home in the heart of Harper’s Ferry. Location cannot be beat. Outstanding views of the rivers from the backyard. The steps, inside and out, are no joke. And the AC only works well in one bedroom. But, all in all. We would go back. Very responsive hosts! '

'Our stay at the VRBO home was truly magnificent! The gourmet kitchen made meal prep a delight, and the open concept living space was perfect for relaxing and entertaining. 'It's a nice place for a big group to crash for a few days. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and pots/pans -- everything we needed. Adequate number of bathrooms for everyone. Short drives to many nice places and to the metro station. Check-out is very simple and appreciated. Owner was always available and proactive on making sure our stay was comfortable. A few no-big-deal oddities: Decaf was the only Keurig coffee option. Garbage disposal failed. No shampoo (but...

'Our family (teens and adults) enjoyed staying here as a base to explore all the sights of dc. It was in a great location- about 1.5 mile walk to the sights and so close to a grocery store! Everything we needed was here. Would recommend!'

'Beautiful setting with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is charming, renovated, updated, clean, and comfortable. Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. 'We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!'
