'Room was pretty basic. Linens were lacking. There was some issues on check in with the number of nights I was staying and my VIP status. Breakfast and breakfast staff were great as always. Bar only opened a short time. Some of the older staff is still there and they are always lovely. Unfortunately, going about my day the cruise ship folks are everywhere. So very crowded and people trying to hard sell.'

Our biggest disappointment was that we found the Teppanyaki restaurant to be closed for the week after we had been able to make reservations on the app, and the sushi restaurant was also closed during our entire stay'

'The staff was amazing. The property maintained nicely and the rooms were nice and clean. They only carried certain beers and drinks. More on the cheap side. The buffet food was awful and the selection of foods as well. The buffet area had very little air conditioned. The best thing there was the ice cream!'

Logistics-wise, traveling by ferry to the island with luggage is very complicated, requiring long walks with bags and a taxi to the hotel.However, because it is a small property, moving around is very fast and easy, which was excellent for my son in a wheelchair.
