'Nice accommodation at a very usefull location. Just across the highway you can already see the state capitol. Accommodations are modest but so is the price. Plenty of room to park your car and easy to walk downtown and have a drink if you wish to do so. Friendly staff. '

'Great house for a guys weekend in Austin. Plenty of rooms and beds for our group and space to spread out. Pool was great to hangout in the day or after being out for the evening. House has nice amenities with pool, hot tub, game areas. All rooms were clean and ready when we checked. Host was helpful as we communicated in advance for recommendations for activities and restaurants. Host checked in a few times to see how things were going and if needed anything. '

'The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting...

"I had a very disappointing stay at this Super 8. The room smelled strongly of mold and was very dark and damp, making it uncomfortable to spend any time in. The air felt heavy, and it seemed like there was little to no ventilation. The shower was another issue—the water had a strange, unpleasant smell and the water pressure was uncomfortably strong. It didn’t feel clean or refreshing at all. To top it off, the swimming pool didn’t seem well-maintained either. The water didn’t look clean and there was no shade… Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel unless some serious improvements are made"
