'I wanted a short getaway to beat the Austin heat since I had a full house with family staying with me. My dog came too, and I couldn’t find another home at such a great price that also allowed pets, so that was a huge plus. This home was the perfect retreat — the pool complex (with the infinity pool plus four others) was incredible, and there were BBQ grilling areas, both gas and charcoal that were really nice, along with a restaurant next door serving great food and amazing drinks. 'We came into town for New Year’s Eve vacation with friends and concert at Austin city limits. Stayed five days/ four nights. House is very cute and was well stocked for us and our two friends. The homeowner was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Our friends brought their dog, and the house is perfectly located five minutes walk to Lady Bird lake and walking path. Walkable to shops/restaurants on Rainey St and East fifth and E sixth. Super short Uber ride to West side and airport....
