'The cabin was spotless; contained cooled bottled water and a snack. Scott, the owner, was personable and explained clearly how the solar power worked in the cabin, as well as how the toilet and solar shower worked. He also explained what was available in town for food and amenities.'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings.
