'The motel is dated. Carpet is dark brown indoor/outdoor. Rooms have a musty odor. Towels are thin, bed spreads have not been laundered recently. Beds were reasonably comfortable, tv worked, there is a coffee maker in the room. And a full refrigerator so bring your own cream. Desk staff were pleasant. Room was quiet.'

'We enjoyed staying here at this cute Inn. It was so clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. We were in room 26 which was cute with its little table with two chairs, comfortable bed, and access to the living room of the in at our front door. There was also a very nice outside porch or you could sit and watch the sunrise in the morning with your coffee or tea. We enjoyed walking down to one of the restaurants and had a nice dinner, and then having homemade ice cream afterwards at the ice...

'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings. Thanks for everything...

'Location location location! Motel is easy walking distance to shops & restaurants and to e-bike rental for Acadia. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.'

'Limited staff presence; no coffee maker in the room; coffee and hot water was only available for a couple of hours in the morning'

'Overall great stay'

'Nice, clean, big room. They are renovating the outside now. Nice staff. WiFi not that great in room 112'

'Friendly and great location. Nice amenities and ample parking. Only issue was noise suppression. You could hear the shower loudly above our room.'
