'This property is so beautiful!! Great location to explore tons of places. Picturesque and peaceful is an understatement! The bedroom is like being in the clouds surrounded by an Apple tree and a beautiful backyard! Wall to wall windows allow you to view the night sky and the moon! 'The stairs and upper landing were difficult for a 76 yr old. suggest a 2nd small railing at the landing. No upstairs bathroom made things a bit difficult at night. Other than that the place was great.'

'The picture on VRBO does not depict condition of property. I chose not to stay there due to the conditions. Very unkept, trash cans everywhere, very limited parking, siding rippled like there had been a fire or it melted. Attempted to get money back.'

'Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative...

'There were a couple of items broken when we arrived. Shakey kitchen chairs and a towel bar in the bathroom. The parking was less than ideal. We were told to park next to the porch and not in the driveway, but there was always a car parked on the street in front of that area. So there was no way to pull into it. The place was clean when we arrived and we left it clean.'
