'We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The kitchen was well-stocked and had the space and all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the island but across the street from a pebble beach and only a half mile to the cute town of Southwest Harbor, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and a bakery. It’s an easy drive to some amazing hikes. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!'

Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. 'The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. '

'Everything exceeded our expextations. The place was spotless. The road to get the rental was rough. You have to watch out for the pot holes but definitely not a deal breaker. '

'This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. 'Great access to Acadia National park makes it easy to go hiking and walking distance to downtown but not in the middle of downtown if you want to stay out of some of the crowds. Property Manager was very helpful and reaponsive.'

' Our Host Eve was clear on all instructions and directions which made check in a breeze. Kitchen was well equipped, (even homemade blueberry muffins)everything was super clean & the location was perfect! Use of the garage for parking, and laundry on site was a bonus. Overall everything was exactly as written on site and other reviews were spot on. Eve went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, have easy access to her if we needed anything, while still having privacy.Gave great referrals...

'This apartment was a great spot to enjoy desert island Maine. It’s a short walk from a small, cute town, and is a clean, cozy place to relax. It is well stocked with things you may need (coffee filtered, linens, crockery—though I’d clean everything before using it— and cleaning supplies) The bed is great, and the space is used creatively.
