I rented the room downstairs and being in the middle of the city you hear city noises but with a good pair of ear plugs, it’s a great location and very nice coffee shop 1 min by foot and great restaurant too. For breakfast, it would be great to have some fruits! Otherwise, the bunk bed rooms: it’s really hard to leave at night as all the lights are out and almost impossible to unlock the door from the inside and bothered all the other...

I stayed in an all girls shared dorm with bunk beds and had the bottom bunk, which was fine for sleeping. The room had a sliding door that opened to a small balcony, which was a nice touch. 'Acropolis View Dream Hostel turned out to be a really pleasant surprise and a great base for exploring Athens. The rooms were simple but clean, the shared kitchen and common areas made it easy to chat with other travelers, and the rooftop terrace with the Acropolis in the distance was the highlight of every evening. The neighbourhood felt busy and a bit rough at first, but after a day I appreciated how convenient it was for cheap food and transport, and I ended up really enjoying the atmosphere...
