'My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon!'

'My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet. Their dog was such a sweetheart, our daughter loved the encounters...

'After staying in several VRBOs near enough to the highway to hear it 24/7, it was nice to get away to a quiet location (except for the young gals in kitty-corner house that partied all night but it didn't keep us up much; in our sixties, we have to admire their stamina). Comfortable bed, nice to have a private back porch and back yard with some decorations. Not far south to Pahoa with interesting food, shops, and people. Walk about six blocks to a stretch of lava cliffs popular with friendly...

'I came for a conference and did not want to stay at the hotel ,boy did I make the right choice ! This cottage is absolutely charming and quiet,well stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful time! We cooked outside most nights and enjoyed different beaches every day. Lava Lava Beach club and the Hale bar at the Fairmont were really nice and both close to the water. We will definitely be back ! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property!'

'I took a 10-day solo trip to the big island for my 30th birthday. I wanted something that honored the natural beauty of Hawai’i. Mary’s Garden House hideaway was exactly that. The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip.
