The place is like a dormitory, no frills, but everything you need for preparing you own food and getting a good nights rest. It’s an older lodge but everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained. I’d recommend it to friends.'

The bed was comfortable and the full kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. Raul was quick to respond to our questions and special requests. The AC worked great. I wish we would have had more time to spend in Hilo at the Guest House. The guest information book was a masterpiece!'
