'This was a very well-appointed property. The room was nicely decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff in the pub below the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. If there was any issue, it was that the Expedia website did not indicate that the elevator to the hotel was not functioning. That information would have been greatly appreciated.'

'It was a clean room, the staff was good and helpful but I wished they had signs saying the pool was closed like on the doors or somewhere.. the pool was closed the whole stay. But other than that it was a good experience.'

'The Clewiston Inn is a faded elegant place. It became run-down and the new manager doesnt have the budget or talent for good renovation work. Rooms are big and furniture is heavy and old but sorta elegant, like all the fine original woodwork. Crummy little breakfast. And they ignorantly leave the buildings outside floodlights on 24/7. They seem mentally challenged there. But the architecture is charming. I prefer it to square concrete modern hovel hotels.'

'This was our second stay at this property and once again we enjoyed our time. The 2-room suite was beautiful and comfortable, the scene of the lake relaxing. The included breakfast selections were great and the food was tasty. They told us that they're currently doing renovations (5/20/26), but honestly we could not see any signs as they kept everything nice and clean. We look forward to seeing what the renovations bring because in our opinion the property is already lovely.'
