B&B in Florida

'We arrived at 44 Spanish Street Inn on May 2nd at 5:30PM. The property looked like it was undergoing some type of renovation and didn’t look anything like the website pictures. When we got to our room we discovered there was no electricity in the building. We called the property owner who’s comment was the electricity was supposed to be on by 5 then 6 and now he told us it would be 8:30PM. 'Très chouette B&B près d’Ocean Eleven. La chambre est suffisamment grande pour une ou deux nuit. Il manque de chaise par contre, de place pour mettre ses vêtements. Le cadre et décor de l’hôtel (patio) est très beau. C’est agréable d’avoir de l’eau dans les chambres et un frigo. Dommage qu’au petit déjeuner on doive choisir entre les œufs ou le pancake et qu’on ait pas la possibilité de prendre les deux 😉 Personnel sympathique '

'We loved the 2nd floor veranda, as there was always a nice breeze even though the temperature was very hot. The noise level from the street is a lot to get used to but the home was beautifully appointed and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable. The location worked well for St. Augustine as most things were only a short walk to get to.'

'The hotel is charming, but the location could be better. Unfortunately, the staff experience was disappointing. Breakfast service was especially frustrating — although the restaurant opens at 8:30 AM, food service did not actually begin until around 9:20 AM, which is far too late for guests with morning plans.'
