'Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those...

'The condo was exactly how it is advertised. Clean, comfortable, top of the line appliances, and away from the hustle and bustle of Merrie Monarch Activities but centrally located so you could participate and or attend any one of the many craft fairs. We loved it! If there is anything I could suggest it is to put up a full-body mirror. After all the shopping that takes place during MM week it would be nice to try on and see the clothes you purchased just in case you need to make exchanges. '

'We only needed beds for one night and this worked out well for us. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location was perfect. We arrived after most business on the street were closed, so parking was easy to find. We left before sunrise to get an early start on our sightseeing and drive back to Kona.'

'This place had everything we needed for our 3 day stay in Volcano. Super convey location to the park, town and the host was great at communicating and accommodating our needs. 'I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive.
