'Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs'

'Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!'

'Lovely grounds, with Steam vent nature trail, Steam heated hot tub and adjacent Bathroom, located lower on site. 4 cottages grouped near highground, but provide nice privacy details via curtains... Pick the cottage with the amenities you desire. Kalo the resident greeter is a sweet white goldendoodle that added to the experience. All staff are friendly and helpful but mostly invisible. Fabulous place to feel the quiet. '

'Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall,...

'The property was hard to find. The directions off this site and gps are different. I was confused because I saw another vehicle on property. It was the live in manager. We had our privacy and it was great to get away. We plan on staying again. '
