'The property is beautiful and well-kept outside. Rooms are updated, however, the walls are pretty thin and housekeeping could have been better. We were awakened numerous times throughout the night and early morning with flushing toilets, people in the halls, and pressure washers on the patio. The Lava Lava restaurant was amazing and the adjacent beach had plenty of lounge chairs. We also appreciated the valet service accommodating us when they already had 100 cars. Overall, it was a nice place...

'This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. On our first night, the fire alarms went off around midnight and continued for nearly an hour. Not once did we receive any communication or even a basic apology from the hotel, which was extremely disappointing. There were also several maintenance issues in our room. 'Stay was lovely. Room was clean and staff made us feel welcomed from the beginning. The resort is small, but it is right on the beach which is great for morning walks or bike rides. You can check out bikes from the hotel that is included in the resort amenities. The pool is heated at night and the hot tub is very relaxing with the ocean breeze and the sounds of the waves. We would definitely be returning. '
