'Property was a cozy apartment in the heart of Seward. Walking distance from the Sea Life Center and Restaurants. It was clean and well equipped. Nice Retro theme.'

'To those who might temper expectations around what an Alaska small town VRBO might look like, you would be misguided to do so with the VRBO at 1125 Cliff View Place in Seward. The place is gorgeous. It was clean and modern, offering a great view of the nearby lagoon, Seward boat harbor, and mountains of Resurrection Bay. If you are in town and in need of a place to stay, you can’t go wrong with this one.'

'Beautiful property, very clean, comfortable beds. The host was fantastic - our son left a lovey behind, and she contacted us right away to make sure we didn't leave without it. Since it is near the hospital, there was a bit of road noise, but otherwise it was perfect.'

'During our visit to Seward we enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Fisherman’s retreat. The location of the cabin is perfect, just outside of the city proper but close to anything you need. The morning views of the mountains are spectacular! Nola, the property manager, was super helpful and took excellent care of us during our stay whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are visiting Seward!!'

'Our host was able to get us in early which worked out very well for us. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was very clean and a great space. The couch with the foam topper was very comfortable. This space is right by downtown and not far from a free shuttle stop. Noise from the upstairs apartment was a little bothersome but not that bad.'

'This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in The hosts Liz and Billy were very personable. I can't think of anything we wanted that the place did not have! We hope to be back!! Took spectacular pictures of Bald Eagles (perched and in-flight!) and Sea Otters on our hike on Diamond Creek trail.. very close to Liz and Billy's. I also recommend the boat to..fly back excursion to Seldovia with Mako Water Taxi!!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- we had an end unit facing the bay. It was spacious with a full kitchen and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The heated floors in the bathroom were a welcomed treat! And the washer & dryer were a nice feature as this was the second half of our trip after a week on a cruise ship. Liz was a fabulous host. She even left us a welcome bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! Her recommendations for restaurants and a local art gallery were spot on and...

'A bit of time travel staying in this historic building, with the charm (some antique furniture) and also a few inconveniences (steam heat; no dishwasher) of an older property. Perfect location for enjoying all of Seward.'

'Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps. '
