'We had great time at this place the beach area is accessible and private. My grandkids learned quickly how to use the kayaks and could paddle all around- thanks for providing those and the life jackets. No complaints about bed every one thought they were comfortable. Any questions were quickly resolved and last night the power went out and they had stocked for that. The house is very roomy and there were 10 of us. Would stay there again in the future.'

'It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. 'We’ve stayed here twice a couple of years apart in the summer, and have loved our time here. For our second stay, we looked around at many properties in the area, and you won’t find a better location for a family in the price range. We wake up in the morning and kayak with the two kayaks provided for use while the tide is high and calm, and again in the evening as well as fish (although we didn’t catch anything). 'If this place looks like it would interest you from the listing and photos, then don't hesitate and book it. It is exactly as listed, and probably short sells it a bit even. We had a memorable stay, and Lane is a fantastic host.Epic views indeed. '

'We enjoyed our stay very much, the apartment was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The garden was stunning and we could see both the sunrise and sunset. The pebble beach was down a steep set of stairs which led through an arbor and opened up to a beautiful view of the water! We would definitely stay here again! '

'We were all in from Philly for my son's graduation & this property was perfect for all of us! The deck & waterfront were beautiful. Used the kayak & saw so many harbor seals. The house was spacious & loved the juke box & record collection for the turntable. Had a few small issues but were resolved quickly. Would definately rent this property again!'

'Dotty’s place was adorable and perfect for me. It was well stocked, clean, had everything I needed. And was within walking distance to downtown Port Orchard, where there are shops and restaurants, etc. Any question I had Suanne promptly answered. The bed was in all honesty the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in… It was like sleeping on a cloud….view of water was beautiful!! My son and family live in Port Orchard and hoping to return often from Florida. Loved every minute there. '

'We had the best time at the Montgomery's "Cottage by the Sea" we called it. We had a family of 5 and the space was perfect! We really enjoyed the house decor and the Olympic Mountain views are unmatched! We had daily visits from Seals, Deer, Bald Eagles and we got really lucky and saw Orcas on our 2nd day! The binoculars came in handy for watching all the marine life! My family explored Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier and most of our desirable visits were within 45min-2 hours away. We loved...
